Philosophy of "KHUDI & SHAHEEN" of Iqbal

Khudi( Asrar-e-khudi ) was written by Allama Iqbal. Iqbal explains the secret, power, attributes, standard, the purpose and the destiny of a human in the philosophy of "Khudi".Allama Iqbal wrote  poetry on Khudi(secret natural force in a human) as:

Khudi ko kar buland itna ke har takdeer se pehle
Khuda bande se khud pooche bata teri raza kia ha

Iqbal is encouraging a human that take yourself to the heights of glories and do those acts, which your GOD wants you to do. And when you get such a high standard that you become the friend of God then your God will ask you, what you want me to do for you? Here, Iqbal is giving such a fascinating ideas about the powers of a human.
During 1900 Iqbal played a great role in the creation of Pakistan. When Muslims lost their hope then Iqbal came and said:
Dyare Ishq main apna makaam paida kar
Nai dunya naye subho shaam paida kar

Mera tareek meri amiri nahin faqiri ha
Khudi ko na bech, gharibi main naam paida kar

Iqbal is saying don't loose your hope, develop you standard in the world of madness. You should know that you are rewarded with bunch of qualities so creat a new society, days and nights. Use your heart not mind to understand the super natural forces which are hidden in you. You yourself is a destiny.Iqbal says:

                                                 Zameen-o-Asma-o-kursi-o-Arsh
Khudi ki zad main ha sari Khudai

Iqbal is saying if you develop your Khudi then you'll develop a spiritual force which will enable to reach to the whole universe, nothing is impossible for you unless you don't develop Khudi in you.
when  a human reach to such a stardard then God bless him with the bunch of qualities, powers and attributes as Iqbal defines the qualities:

                                                 Kahari-o-ghaffari-o-kuddoosi-o-jabroot
Ye chaar anasir hon to banta ha musalman

Koi andaza kar sakta ha us ke zore bazoo ka
K nigahe marde momim se badal jati hain taqdirain

Iqbal is saying a Mard e Momin have four attributes which makes it to understand and use those divine attributes which he is blessed with. And then Iqbal says he can change the world, the culture, the society with the power of his divine forces, attributes and qualities. Iqbal, actually elaborates the secret of Khudi by defining the qualities of a human which makes a man Shaheen. That every thing around him is in his hand. Actually Iqbal is explaining the reality of a human being.
The main doctrine of the Khudi of Iqbal is that if you will not develop your khudi then you will never achieve your destiny and the glories.
It was asked to Iqbal that how to develop Khudi and how to be so high, Iqbal said:

"Tu shaheen ha basera kar paharoon ki chatanoon par"
Iqbal is giving an example of falcon who never feel tired while flying in the air that make your standard on the peaks of mountains and never feel tired and keeping on struggling so that one time you will reach to your destiny.when they develop a confidence like falcon then they look their destiny above up the sky then there is nothing impossible for them.

Parwaaz ha dono ki isi ek fiza main
Kargas ka jahan or ha shaheen ka jahan or

Then it was asked to Iqbal that how do we believe it, Iqbal said:

Shaheen kabhi parwaaz se thak kar nahin girta
Pur dam ha agr tu, tu nahin khatra e aftaad

Iqbal said a falcon never feel tired in the air and if a human develop a power like that, he will never be scared of difficulties and hurdles on his journey of glory. Here Iqbal is building up the confidence of a human and advising that
Ae dost karo himmat kuch door sawera ha
Agr chahte ho manzil to parwaaz badal dalo

Iqbal is saying that we have no time left but to be on the right path, develop Khudi and if you want to achieve your destiny then change the way of your journey.
People asked you said we will achieve our destiny so where is it, Iqbal said:

Ishq ko faryaad lazim thi so wo ho chuki
Ab zara dil thaam kar is faryaad ki taaseer dekh

Iqbal is saying that when you start your journey, don't look at your reward. Keep focusing on your journey, keeping focusing on the purpose of your life. For what you are sent to this world. Just do acts to please your God. Don't demand reward, your get the reward of it on the Day of judgment.
Iqbal said:

Meri zindagi ka maksad, Allah k deen ki sarfarazi
Main isi liye musalma, isi liye namazi

Tere azaad bandon ki na ye dunya na wo dunya
yahaan marnain ki pabandi wahan jine ki pabandi

Iqbal says, the purpose of my life is the glory of the deen of God, thats why i am a muslim and i pray to God. Iqbal is keep on developing the standard of a human and explaing one spiritual power in his whole poetry is "KHUDI".
So, we should know where is your our powers, attributes, qualities by knowing our Khudi. Khudi will take you to your destinies and enable you to use your hidden spiritial forces.
At the end Iqbal emphasize on the one thing at the end of jawab e shikwa that

Ki Muhammad(S.A.W.W) se wafa tu nain to ham tere hain
Ye jahan cheez ha kia loho kalam tere hain

Iqbal tells that this is the base of all if you want to achieve something. If you have no respect for the Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W.W) then you can not achieve your destiny and your goals. No compromise with the standard of Beloved Holy Prophet(S.A.W.W).
